Edwin Ashton

He was Private 107083 Royal Army Medical Corps. Born at Bradfield, Yorks, he enlisted at Wharncliffe. The husband of S.A. Ashton of High Road, Worrall, Sheffield. Buried at Wadsley Churchyard, Sheffield, 34. N3. North. His family inscription on his headstone reads – ‘Gone from our home but never from our hearts’.
With the RAMC connection could he also be another candidate for the ‘missing’ panel from the Roll of Honour?
