William Seymour Barton

 

Died aged 20 on 30/12/1915. William was Private 3173 4th Bn. Leicestershire Regiment.
His MIC reads – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. He landed in France on 2/3/15. Strangely it states he was KIA on 30/12/15! His service papers survive on Ancestry. He is buried at Leicester (Gilroes) Cemetery, RR. 464.
