Albert Batty
Died aged 29 on 5/11/1918. He was Private 20585 Durham Light Infantry, being transferred as 451264 to the Eastern Command Labour Centre, Labour Corps. Born at Salford, Lancs, he enlisted at Sheffield. Albert is buried at City Road Cemetery at Sheffield, J.9 Gen. 7686. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landing in France on 24/8/15.
