Thomas Birch

Died aged 21 on 9/2/1918. He was Private 21/209 3rd Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment. Born and enlisted at Garforth, Yorks, he was the son of Joseph and Annie Birch of 25 Beech Grove Avenue, Garforth. Thomas is buried at Garforth Cemetery, D. 153. Thomas’s name appears on the St. Mary’s Roll of Honour at Garforth. His MIC reads – Victory and British War medals.
