George James Bush

Died of wounds on 24/11/1917 aged 28. He was Sapper 504511 20th Depot, Royal Engineers. Originally with 503rd Field Company R.E. The son of Sarah Bush of 19 Denmark Road, East Twerton, Bath, and the late Edward Bush. His name appears on the Twerton War Memorial. Papers survive on Ancestry. MIC reads – Victory and British War medals, also his original number – (T) 1776.
