Arthur Butler

 

Died of wounds on 24/10/1916 aged 25. He was Lance Serjeant 7th Bn. Bedfordshire Regiment. Born at Old Ford, Middlesex, he enlisted at Canning Town and resided at East Ham, Essex. He was the son of Harry Robert and Emily Butler of 9 Tudor Road, East Ham. Arthur is commemorated at Woodgrange Park Cemetery, East Ham, Screen Wall 36. 6836.  MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landed in France on 12/8/15.
