Herbert Butterfield

 

Died of Carcinoma of stomach and Asthenia on 17/5/1920. He was Private 206623 Royal Army Medical Corps. Herbert was previously Driver 28668 Royal Field Artillery. The son of Edwin and Sarah Butterfield, he had 21 years service under his belt. Born at Thornton. His papers survive on Ancestry. His MIC states only that he died on 15/5/1920? Herbert is buried at Bradford (Thornton) Cemetery, F. ‘U’ 951.
