Harry Cox

 

Died of wounds on 16/8/1915 aged 20. Harry had been wounded in action near Ypres on 6th July 1915. He was Serjeant 5207 1st Bn. Rifle Brigade.

Harry was the son of Mrs. Theresa Cox of 89 Henry Street, Kenilworth, and brother of Wilfred George Cox. Born at Hatton, Warwicks, he enlisted at Coventry. His name appears on the Kenilworth War Memorial and he is also mentioned in the book by Susan Tall & Betty Sunley “Kenilworth & The Great War”.
