Sidney Marshal Creswick

Died on 30/7/1919 aged 21. He was Private 38383 2nd Bn. Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. Sidney was the son of Charles and Fanny Creswick of 4 Sorrell Hill, Wadsley Bridge, Sheffield. He is buried at Sheffield (Burngreave) Cemetery, FF. ‘C’ 2095. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, also his former regiment and number – 11285 KOYLI. He landed in France on 23/7/15. His name appears on the Wadsley Bridge War Memorial.
