Herbert William Daykin

Died of wounds on 25/5/1917 aged 39. He was Corporal 241044 2nd/6th Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales Own). Born and enlisted at Bradford, he was the Husband of Sarah Elizabeth Daykin of 16 Jennings Street, Windhill. MIC – W. Yorks 3305, Victory. British War medals. He is buried at Windhill Methodist Cemetery, T. 53.
