Albert E H Dowling

Died on 27/4/1919 aged 20.
He was Private 235567 4th Bn. East Lancashire Regiment. Albert had a few transfers as can be seen from his MIC –
266501 Yorkshire Regt. 26875 Yorkshire Regt. 22875 West Riding Regt. 5819 York & Lancs Regt. He was entitled to the Victory and British War medals. He is buried at Chapeltown (Burncross) Cemetery, A. ‘C’ 60. and also commemorated in the St. John the Baptist Book of Remembrance at Chapeltown and also Chapeltown War Memorial.
