Lawrence Vivian Elwell

 

Died of wounds ( Gun shot wound left arm and Bronchioctasia) on 26/6/1918. He was Lance Corporal 427970 20th Depot, Royal Engineers (1st Field Survey Company). Born at London he enlisted at Penrith, Cumberland. He is buried at Wadsley Churchyard, Sheffield, 15. His papers survive on Ancestry. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landing in France on 28/7/15.
