He was the husband of Winfred Jane Garnham of 15 Regent street, Rotherham. He was Driver 26512 ‘B’ Battery, 161st Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. George is buried at Rotherham (Masbrough) Cemetery, F3. ‘C’ Castle Sect. 288.
MIC reads – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, he landed in France on 30/12/15.
