William Gowland

Died on 20/4/1919 aged 37. He was the husband of Mary Gowland of 18 Eden Row, Beamish, Co. Durham. William was Private 37844 Royal Army Medical Corps and is buried at West Pelton (St. Paul) Churchyard, At far west end. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. Landed in France on 21/9/15.

His death certificate states Rheumatic Fever & Endocarditis as his cause of death.
