Percy Gray
Died of wounds on 25/8/1916 aged 23. He was 4899 20th Bn. Royal Fusiliers. The son of Henry Adams and Elizabeth Gray of 58 School road, Sale, Cheshire. Born and resided at Sale, he enlisted at Manchester. His name appears on the Sale War Memorial and also on the Roll of Honour in St Pauls Church Sale. Percy is buried at Ashton-Upon-Mersey (St. Martin) Churchyard, East of church. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landed France on 14/11/15.
