The following information was submitted by Edwin was her Great Uncle

He was born in 1882, pictured with his parents Enwin B.1857-1895 mother Mary Ann Southern B.1855-1940 and his grandfather William Southern B.1822-1883. They all came from Sheffield.
Edwin was Married to Nellie Farrel in 1910 ,
I don't have any more info of his time in WW1 apart from him being in the Royal Marine Engineers. My Aunt believes he suffered from shell shock afterwards.
3 of his 4 brothers were in the war, all in different regiments, his younger one Albert B.1895/6 died in 1917 in Cambrai France.
