John Hill

 

Died on 14/3/1918. He was Private 20715 11th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment. The husband of Mrs. E. Hill of 10 Bewsey street, Thatto Heath, St. Helens. Born at Billinge, Lancs, he enlisted at St. Helens. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landing in France on 6/11/15. His papers survive on Ancestry. John is buried at St. Helens Cemetery, 5. NC. 218.
