Francis Lynch

Died of his wounds on 30/9/1918 aged 25. Francis was Company Serjeant Major 3/9495 5th Company, 10th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wale’s Own). Born and enlisted at Hartlepool, he was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Lynch of 8 Beacon street, Hartlepool. MIC reads – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. He landed in France on 12/12/14. Francis is buried at Hartlepool West View Cemetery, 2 ‘U’ T 3.
