William Montgomery

Died on 17/11/1916 aged 24. William was Rifleman 534 16th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles. Born at Killybagh, Co. Down, he enlisted at Lurgan, Co. Down. The son of William Montgomery of Ballymacromwell, Co. Down. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. Landed in France on 4/10/15. He is buried at Killleagh Presbyterian (or Meeting House Green) Churchyard, near East end of church.
