William Morgan

Died of Broncho pneumonia on 4/5/1918 aged 49. He was Private 139986 Machine Gun Corps. Originally he was 19483 Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry. A Carter by trade he was the son of Thomas Morgan. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. Landing in France on 16/12/15. Born and living at Cardiff, (Bedwas) he enlisted at Oxford. William is buried at Bedwas (St. Barrwg) Churchyard, East of church.
