Albert Murray

Died of his wounds on 31/12/1915 aged 24. Albert was Lance Corporal 15229 11th Battalion, Royal Scots. Born at Walkerburn, Peebles, he enlisted at Alloa. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. He landed in France on 11/5/15. The son of William Murray of ‘Holylee’, March street, Peebles. He is buried at Innerleithen Cemetery, B. 793.
