John Ormandy

Died of wounds on 2/9/1918 aged 25. John was Private 241759 1st/6th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. The son of Mrs. Ellen Ormandy. Born at Smithy Bridge, Lancs, he enlisted at Rochdale, residing at Littleborough, Lancs. MIC – Victory and British War medals. He is buried at Littleboroygh (Dearnley) Cemetery M. 18.
