Thomas Soames

Died on 2/11/1918 aged 26. Thomas was Private 16/1049 2nd Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales Own). Born and enlisted at Bradford he was the son of Thomas and Harriett Soames, of 5 Whetley Lane, Girlington, Bradford. MIC reads – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals. He landed in Egypt on 22/12/15. Thomas is buried at Bradford (Scholemoor) Cemetery, L. C. 1026.
