Bernard William Stannett

Died of his wounds on 2/7/1916 aged 39. He was Private 19176 5th Bn. Royal Berkshire Regiment. Born at Windsor he enlisted at Maidenhead. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, he landed France on 22/12/15. The son of George and Sarah Stannett; husband of Rose Stannett of Harding’s Cottages, Eton Wick, Windsor. He is buried at Touchen End (Holy Trinity) Churchyard, SE of lychgate.
