John Turner

Died of wounds on 27/10/1915. He was Private 7671 1st/5th Bn. South Staffordshire Regiment. Born at Walsall, he enlisted at Bloxwitch and resided at New Invention, Staffordshire. MIC – Victory, British War and 1915 Star medals, landed in France on 5/3/15. Buried at Short Heath (Holy Trinity) Churchyard Extension, in south east corner.
