Christopher Winn

Died of wounds on 26/8/1916. He was Lance Serjeant 4820 Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), formerly Kings Royal Rifle Corps. MIC reads – Victory and British War medals. MGC # 4820, KRRC # 6668. Born at Kyme, Sleaford, Lincs, he enlisted at Nottingham and resided at Brant Broughton. He is buried at Wadsley Churchyard, Sheffield, and is commemorated on the Wharncliffe Memorial Stone there.
