W R Bennett

Mr. and Mrs. Blatchford, of 19 Cleveland street, St. Thomas, Exeter, have been informed that their adopted nephew, Pte. W.R. Bennett, had been wounded in France, and is now in Wharncliffe War Hospital, Sheffield, with a bullet wound in the leg. Previous to joining H.M. Forces he was a conductor on the City trams, and was also one of the 1st St. Thomas Boy Scouts.
