George Francis Grayson

Former Wharncliffe Patient George Francis Grayson.
Born Liverpool, he was in the 16th Regiment of the East York and Lancs Regiment 1916-1918. He was a patient at Wharncliffe War Hospital and discharged from there on the 24th September 1918. He was discharged from the army suffering with epilepsy. I am not sure if he suffered this due to the war, but according to a letter in 1921 he was still suffering and also had terrible nerves.

With thanks to Gina Mayers.
